Pubs - EA/Respawn I'm asking seriously.

I really do sympathize. I'm sort of the same player at a much lower level.

But then you got to this part: "your game makes no sense for people who are hitting diamond in solo "q" and don't want to play masters/preds"

Master and predators make up a paltry percentage of the player base. There are not ever enough of them to fill their own lobbies. Who is it you're suggesting they play against if not diamonds?

And if you really want to move to the left in this game then you can do it. But you need to stop trying so hard. And you definitely need to stop getting to diamond. Because that's how you end up playing predators.

Time for a secondary? Everyone else does it. But remember, if you do it and you don't start pulling your punches then you're just gonna end up in the same sweat-soaked three stack **bleep** hole you're in right now.

I am quite sure that:

a) if you would provide your game recordings, many would be able to point out numerous issues why you are having hard time in the game

b) if you would provide more data maybe Respawn would be able to comment more on the situation

For me as pretty much always D4+ player pubs has always been basically easy. Games depend on a few factors:
- more often than not teammates will just drop hot and aim for 4k 20 bomb (and fail miserably 99% of a time) -> in such games even in pubs you have to play really safe as any 1v3 or even 1v2 even vs much weaker opponents are hard to pull off in Apex, it's no Valorant where one good player can easily do 1v5 again and again and again and finish off with x5 frags vs others
- in games were teammates do some teamwork = I always get like 5KP+ and top5, games are easy, you probably lose to really high rank player or hacker
- pretty much noone including myself use coms and/or pings in pubs because we chillin = leads to more mistakes, I tend to die in "stupid" ways vs ranked

That's why I don't play pubs basically every, only to test new legends / abilities, changes made by Respawn.

In Ranked you at least get some comms here and there, more people are inclined not to die under 1 min and games overall are more concrete, not without drawbacks but at least you know what you are getting in.

p.s. I can't remember time where I quit pubs because I got framed by 3stacks / hackers like in every game, at the same time I did quit game just recently (beginning of 2025) when this was happening in ranked = being D4 I got game after game after game with multiple Masters/Preds in lobby who ended up with 10+ sometimes even 20+ KP and farmed like crazy...
