Pubs MM is Unchanged since seasons 8/9

This season started off for me with some very relaxed lobbies. And it stayed that way long enough to make me think it was the new normal. Way better than previous seasons, making me think this must be the new, more granular algorithm.

Then, about three days ago, the other shoe dropped. Now every match is a sweat-soaked meat grinder. I had a guy on my team just today: 150,000 kills. I used to run into these hyper-aggressive, perfectly accurate players once in a blue moon. Now they're half the lobby, every lobby.

I just did one of Respawn's feedback survey's and I told them the worst thing about the game (they asked!) was matchmaking that felt subjectively as if enemies were either bots or predators. I wouldn't have said that a week ago, but it got true in a big hurry, like somebody threw a switch.
