@SlivPTSNot very sure, but it might be a legal requirement to be notified when someone watches you. Regardless, I'd argue that showing the count does more good than bad. If a cheater turns the cheats off when being watched, there are higher chances of him getting eliminated. Some even leave the game immediately, fearing potential reports. Also, when a potential cheater has his tracked data investigated, the discrepancy becomes more noticeable with a cheat getting toggled on / off repeatedly.
- 5 years ago@DoYaSeeMe if that's true then why doesn't it show the spectator count in ranked?

@Daze623Its not remotely true in the slightest. And his thinking behind cheating is also completely wrong.
Removing the spectate eye allows more clear view of being able to watch someone to see if they are indeed cheating. If a user can cut off their cheats it proves nothing on our end of needing proof.
Cheaters would not be getting banned left and right in ranked if not for this eye being removed.I have also asked for a private forum folder that only staff may view where we can send in our for sure catches. I know Conor works hard on doing video views but it can easily times that number by 20 with private staff only view folder of video or screen shots.
