Hmm, this is interesting. What if someone tries a new type of hack, that uses a weakness in the reconnection feature to farm for RP? Maybe they intentionally choke the connection as soon as the match starts, then stall the reconnection somehow, so that they join as late as possible, maybe place in the top and get RPs without doing anything...
Or, it might be some player id mismatch, which might be possible with crossplay in and Apex about to go on Steam.
