Rank Boosting

I am curious, will there any action be taken against big names that made brand new accounts just so they can boost some of the new CoD streamers solely for an increased viewership which leads to an increase of ad revenue, subs and donations?

In december a bunch of predators got banned for boosting and in the Rules of Conduct it's stated that boosting is indeed an offence. So will boosting become allowed now or will these people get punished for breaking your rules?

  • @L0rfiOfc not. You think big streamers have to respect the rules? I have other more dark theories about them too, like they get no-recoil mods and bot lobbies to attract viewers. I have no proof but sometimes it's kinda obvious, that their "recoil control" is in fact a program.

Then they're like look 25 kills and 6k dmg and you look at the video and half the people don't move when they fight and the other half don't even fire a shot back before they are killed. That's way too different from my lobbies. As a master player, I have at least 1-2 master/pred squads in almost all my pubs.

i believe the majority of Streamers are using a soft aimbot of some kind we know some have been caught .and probably encouraged to do so to promote the game

  • @Tad844 I'm no conspiracy theorist, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some sort of truth to this lmao!! That is one of the biggest reasons I don't really like watching streamers. When I'm watching, they usually seem like they are in lobbies that are populated by ACTUAL potatoes. My lobbies tend to be people that seem to be way above my skill level, with the wall jumps and bunny hops and all that fancy pants stuff. Heck, I've always been baffled at the accuracy of streamers hip-fire, compared to when I use the same weapons. Seeing someone 360 off a jump tower to hit a no-scope with the Kraber from 50+ meters, makes me question things.

The only time I've really seen streamers/pros going against similar-skilled opponents, is in tourneys or when they do scrims with other pros. I'm not saying there's anything to it, I'm just saying that's why I don't really watch streams. It could very well just be the fact that, the percentage of the Apex player pool that is of that skill level is so small, that is why they aren't really challenged outside of tourneys/scrims.

At the end of the day though, I'm not worried about it. I play the game for fun, and have plenty of other games to play when Apex gets frustrating.
