Well we know that MMR has existed for pubs since the update that introduced Duos as an LTM for Valentines Day (Feb 2020?), because that’s how sweaty pubs are made.

My question is, does that pre-existing MMR impact the MMR that’s currently being used for ranked? My gut tells me yes.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 didnt they mention in the blogpost that they want to have a general MMR that works for all the gametypes ? i thought i read smth like this. i guess that just the range will differ depending on queue length
