@MabusHades I believe they have confirmed a ranked KP rework is coming in the upcoming Season 11. I don't think specifics will be available until the patch notes are released though. I'm definitely curious to see how they handle it.
I like the idea of knockdowns granting maybe 1 RP, and perhaps a small amount from respawns. I feel like revive RP would be exploited? Not sure. I like how assist RP works, at the moment. It doesn't seem right, to give assist points to someone that did 0 damage to that particular enemy. Rank boosting would be even worse, if that were the case.
I'll reserve my judgement for after the patch notes are released, but I am at least hopeful for a positive outcome.

Yeah honestly even 1 rp for all that would make me want to die less in real life right now rank is just chasing your tail soon as you get into platinum....and with only 30 days you have to sell your soul practically to make it work so really they need give more time too I already given up 15 days in on plat 4 it is no joke it is hell you do good then have 10 terrible games worst luck worst teammates or just straight up mega try hard is what it is but that's another problem. You should only play with peeps in your rank really if wasn't so hard to rank up thered be more than enough players to go around they have it sport hard competitiveness right now and its just toxic since its a game. Shouldn't be so difficult. Don't care for the rewards either but if thats why they make it so hard just get rid of it seriously lmao
@MabusHadesregarding split length in my opinion only people who see this as a problem are ones that at the end of the split have been "in the middle" or let's call it at the bottom of the higher tier e.g. you as a good Platinum player actually making it to Diamond 4.
Why? Let me explain.
End of the split all people get -1.5 tiers. In this example, you as a Diamond 4 (actually Platinum level) player get into high Gold.
High gold can play with Silver (ex-high gold / low platinum players = easier target for you), Gold (ex Platinum players = 50/50 for you), and Platinum players (ex diamonds or even Masters = much better players than you).
So the first part of the split for you is the grind that is mainly determined by matchmaking given if you get a higher ratio of Silver and Gold, you progress fast, if you start to face more Gold and Platinum that is equivalent of the previous D4 level and higher = your max, it should not be a surprise that you are stuck, progressing slowly.Just because at the moment you are in Gold and previously were in Diamond should not make it easier for you, because lobbies remain the same level = D4 = your max.
Over time - mentioned 1-2 weeks we all see an easier time because better players already go into Diamond and no longer can play vs you in Gold and lower-ranked players grind and rank up to face you (still better than them) in Gold lobbies = lobbies and matchmaking start to favor you, you rank up to platinum and again face the same situation as in Gold for the next 2 weeks or so just to reach your peak rank by the end of the split.
BUT THAT IS THE POINT OF RANKED otherwise you would either remain hard-stuck in one level for all weeks in a row or progress indefinately defeating prupose of ranked system.@damsonwhufndthis @I’m usually leaving my team and carrying them to the win in the current system. Adding knockdowns and damage point would be nice but it won’t change that you get blocked out from advancing at a certain point with no hope.
Have you at least gotten to platinum yet? It starts there.
