If this was split 2, they would MAYBE go for an extension. Seems less likely to me tho(not against the idea personally). But since it's announced before the split begins, it's much easier to manage imo.

Why don't they(Respawn) just give us the badges and rewards....We(players) goes for holidays.
And we leave that week for them to do whatever to get it fix. And they should test it..
Don't use US(players) as Guinea Pigs.
Don't mind if extend only 1 week if still not fixed.
