Ranked S17 LP and bonuses

Question

Community I know we all were looking forward to season 17 and the ranked changes.

It has been a trip so far but the balance has seemed to be missed.

Things I like about it so far:

The ranked split was removed.

Things I do not like about it so far:

The ambiguity of how the bonus system "works"

The whole LP bonus for eliminations is just messed up there are players of all ranks getting top 10 placements and better even winning games with 1-10 KP and or assists and not receiving any type of elimination bonuses some games and receiving small bonuses for the same amount of KP in other games or even lots of elimination bonuses for the same in other games. This has happened to me as well and it is frustrating for all of us Apex ranked players.

From the S17 Ranked update EA website the following is mentioned "Elimination Bonuses are given when your team eliminates other players. This bonus is individually calculated and multiple eliminations against the same players are discarded. To be clear: we use your personal individual kills, assists, and participations. In addition the Assist Timer has been increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds." furthermore this "Bonuses are directly tied to your in-game placements, so make sure you aim to survive and place as high as possible for the best return on Bonuses."

Reading those statements from the EA Apex website as a minimum one should always receive a bonus for Eliminations if they have placed 10th place and the bonus should larger as one places higher. Placing 11th or worse should also at least provide some sort of loss mitigation as this is also stated in the new ranked explanation.

As far as the other bonuses are concerned I really can not point out anything that would concretely say we should have earned them in a game because one does not know in what type of MMR lobby one was placed in each game and one will not know if the current player you eliminated is of higher MMR/rank than you. However it is clear per the new Ranked system that if you place 10th or better and you have KP you should be receiving some type of elimination bonus.

So my big question to EA is where are the Elimination Bonuses for placing 10th or better when you have positive KP/Assists. WE should be getting them.

@Asmodeus566yea, remains a mystery. sometimes i get those Elim Points, most of the time i dont ... its like the MMR ... a huge blackbox. also how to get those other points is not really clear to me, sometimes i get Skillpoints in various amounts from 1to3 digits , but never those other points they reward ( i forgot the name since i dont get them at all)

@r1ggedgame&nbsp;They are called Rating bonus and you get the bonus LP when you outperform the MMR you are placed in.&nbsp;

@Asmodeus566i see , the infamous blackbox again. i knew they wont let go of that one. that explains some of my friends getting way better rank after the placement despite being not as good, now struggeling to even climb up. Friend got placed into silver 2 while i was put in rookie 2 ... he barely made it into gold 3 ... in the same time i reached plat4 (without getting those rating points) .&nbsp;

@Asmodeus566 I was just going to ask about the elim points because ive had a few matches where i placed high with anywhere from 2-5 kills and gotten 0 bonus. Its a little confusing

@MyName1sNotJohn&nbsp;IDK what is going on with elim bonuses.won a game last night with 2 kills, 1 assist and 3 participation.&nbsp;Had to really work for it and respawn my 2 teammates via a mobile beacon in the second to last ring but we pulled it off.and this is all I got for bonuses:I mean what is that I get 20 LP for 2 kills and an assist with 3 participation to boot.&nbsp;I might as well have hid in a tree all game and settled for second instead of hustling for the win.&nbsp;The Bonus system has me SMH and pulling out what hair I have left.
