Apex tracker is tracking 12,557,169 players. But that would probably include Smurf accts and other duplicates, also same email and account on pc and xbox and ps4 and maby switch now too, but no cross progression. Might even include bans too.

It a very wierd claim out of the blue to claim "100 million strong". Maby they are referring to something other than players???

It is hard to estimate. I wish they were more transparent about a lot of stuff.
I have no "issues" finding a match, it can be slightly slower at non peak times, but very functional.
I understand that map selection could make some people happy, but I fail to understand why it would be so relevant. There is a rotation of 2 out of three map for pubs. (sorry I only play pubs).
Perhaps having the three maps in rotation would help?
