Appreciate the responses everyone, it's a mode that never really gets talked about so it's kinda hard to gauge where you should be at haha.
@hayhor define proper matchmaking? Apex has always felt tilted on that front. XD
- @MandatoryIDtag Meaning you'll get an easier match and then a harder one and back and forth, resulting in that 50% win rate.
@hayhor in that case my experience matches what you described, although it's been more of a teammate based competency thing rather than enemy difficulty variation if fhat makes sense.

Curious what this mode’s future will be. I don’t think there’s any plans nor even leaks arenas wise.
- @Cheese9Man How many people even play this mode?? Doesn't seem like much. They should either improve it or replace it with something more popular.
- @Cheese9Man Gun run, with all the crashing, is a lot more fun.
