Re: ALG picks and why Apex is becoming boring because of it
@Voidraker Actually they showed the stats yesterday and Caustic is 3rd most picked. If you think this ALGS doesn't have enough legends go back to the beginning of the game when the only characters picked were Path, Wattson and Wraith. More than 10 legends were used yesterday. The selections are as diverse as they have ever been.
There are 3 legends picked more than the others not because the other characters are too weak but because these characters have ability combos no other characters have. For example-
Gibby- Has a movable AND an ultimate that forces people to use the movable house. No other character has an offensive damaging ability or defensive ability combo as strong.
Caustic- Has gas no other character can go through with the added benefit his barrels block entry doors into places.
Valk- Can scan beacons AND repostion her whole team an incredible distance.
Until they make more characters with similar abilities those 3 are going to dominate picks.
