@DarthValtrex the mastiff with purple bolt fires slower than a wingman. not every shot from the mastiff does a lot of damage, every shot from the wingman does a lot of damage.

what you want is a double tap for the wingman. that sounds fair but then the wingman would have to be nerfed so the double tap wingman is not complained about.

would you be happy with a wingman nerf as long as it gets a double tap to do the same or more damage than a shotgun?

If you take two people with red armor. The wingman lands nothing but body shots, it will require 5 shots. Head shots? 3-4 depending on the legend helmet and armor level.

With the Mastiff it only requires 2 body shots..

The Mastiff fire rate is 60RPM, the Wingman is something like 156RPM. In order for the wingman to be competitive its fire rate would need to be around 300 or the damage would need a buff.

This tells me either the wingman needs a buff or the mastiff needs a nerf. They are not even remotely close. Now factor in that the Mastiff has the best reload of any gun in game. You can put 2 shells in it and fire again, where as the wingman you're a sitting duck for 2.1 seconds.

No matter how look at it, the Mastiff either needs a nerf or the wingman needs a buff. The math clearly shows it.

I understand one is a shotgun and one is a revolver. How ever, the pros and * just don't make sense, add up or equally the guns out. The only mild advantage a wingman has over a Mastiff is that the wingman has a bit of range... But its Pistol, not a rifle. If you're accurate with it, you should be able to go toe to toe with a Mastiff and right now it's not even remotely close. The fire rate of the wingman would need to be double what is for it to have a chance and that's if you miss NO shots.
