Do helmets not work at all then or what?

50% of 288 is def lower then 200 thats for sure.

Ok did some digging and apparently i was wrong about one shoting purple helmet, was probably different body box nvm. Helmets reduce headshot bonus!! mastiff has 2x multiplier, so with helmet it should be 1.5x and it will be 144x1.5=216 aaaand you are still dead 🙂 btw for guns with 1.5x multiplier it will be 1.25 not 1.0

Helmet's reduce the bonus headshot damage by 50%, not the total damage.
Base Damage: 18 per pellet, 144 (8x18) for all 8 pellets
Headshot Damage: 36 per pellet (2x), 288 (8x36) for all 8 pellets
144 + (144 x 0.5) = 216 total damage.
