Re: can you get a 4k badge in limited time modes

I do not believe so. They don’t hand out badges for most events because it’s easier to achieve them in most events. For example, when fight or fright happening, people were getting 20 bombs for killing shadows, even though shadows are 1. Easier to kill and 2. Respawn instantly so you have an endless supply

    Yha @DarthValtrex  is right, Badges and stats tracking have been disabled since shadow fall.

    You can only earn (non-event) badge in normal and ranked mode.

    Allow me to correct the 2 from above. Most LTMs have a disabled progression tracker (no badge or stats), but it’s only the LTMs that alter the ‘rules’ of Apex. Like Shadowfall, Gold duos and so on.

    If the rules are the same, the badges and trackers still function, like when Kings Canyon came as an LTM in this season to appease KC lovers.

    @shadowninja5044 Likely due to rules not being changed that it has limited progression (weird tho)? Because it’s still same gameplay only with no armor? Dunno, but that seems most likely.

    You sure about the badges ninja? ;0

    @Koochi-Q I am 99% sure that badges don't stay, but I can check today. Well, I guess that means I have to do a badge with my most unplayed legend: Wraith (Sorry to all you wraith mains out there but I only played her like, 5 times). Don't know which one to go for though. Pretty sure I already have the squad wipe badge. Eh, I will figure it out.

    @Koochi-Q Also: Well I though kills stayed. I mean, once you get into the 400's it kinda hard to keep track, so I will also check that today.

    @Koochi-Q  If you think about it logically the rules have been changed. You're not armour locked in the standard game mode.

    White armour on every player equates to a generally higher TTK, vastly the increasing the odds of achieving badges such as the 20 bomb. 

    It wouldn't be an accurate reflection of player skill.

    Same goes for the damage badges once we reach blue/purple phases.

    @shadowninja5044 Kills count, that I know for sure. Played yesterday and my kills counted on Rev (I know exactly how many I have at each moment :P)

    If I wasn’t such a lazy bum I’d just make a new account, and go for squad wipe or fully kitted :P other games R calling me. Nowadays I cant play apex long. Just did 2 matches, 1 was instantly D/C because someone took someone else’s wraith and he left and second one resulted in a win and then I left xD

    @Koochi-Q Lol I never leave when somebody takes Rev before me, but it definitely annoys me when their banner comes up and they have like 20 kills to my 420 something. Recently I haven't played apex AS much because my first shooter game, Star Wars Battlefront II, will not longer have regular updates (EA abandoning the game) so I want to play it as long as I can before the entire fanbase just moves on to another game.

    @shadowninja5044 Understandable. I’m playing my backlog since a couple of months ago so less apex. Mostly because I’ve gotten sick of Apex... that was until they released a deathmonger (get it, cause he deals in death harharhar) obsessed with killing and I liked his appearance and stuff surrounding him so I was grinding him to be really a ‘main’ and for that he needed to at least have the 100 5-kill game badge. Did that a while ago so now I’m mainly disinterested in the game again and waiting to see what S5 brings while I play solo player games which have been piling up.

    Making good progress too. Think I have 5-8 titles left out of the 20+ I had xD.

    @Koochi-Q Yeah, I took a break from apex for a while to play Fallen Order, but it doesn't have any real replay value, so I just came back to apex.

    Via testing today, I have dug up [a Sentinel here] the solution to this question.

    For this event currently going on (Battle Armour), your kills, wins, and statistics are kept and tracked. However, badges are NOT able to be earned.

     If you have any doubts as to if this is the right answer, just ask our former president, President Obama!

    @shadowninja5044Can’t argue with the ‘former’ person of anything 😈 they are the former of something because they were doing such a great job! Like former girl/boyfriends! I’m formerly honest! XD

    @Koochi-Q Lol. I would accept my solution as the solution, but I can't so somebody has to do it for me.

    P.S: So, if your formerly honest, then you aren't honest now, so when you say you are formerly honest, then you could be lying. Time Loop 🙂

    @shadowninja5044 Yea, only the OP can do it.

    Time loop? meet inception! if I was formerly honest, I was honest in the past, but the future is but a second before the past catches up, so every new second the future second has past, the past is right there so every past second I’m honest only to be formerly honest for the next!

    @shadowninja5044 HEY but wait, if you do get stats progression (which you do cause it records wins/kills)... but doesn’t do badges... how would you get a new ‘win’ badge like 5 wins or 15 and so on... cause it would be weird to record it but not give you the badge...

    @Koochi-Q OH yeah! Well IDK I had 0 way to test that badge (It is not like I win or get 2k damage every match). Maybe if a better player sees this thread and tests it...

    @Koochi-Q Lol the original post creator hasn't even commented on this thread except for his original post.

    My brain is NOT big enough to understand that. Lets just go with time loop (Which would also make me right) because it is easier to understand.

    @Koochi-Q  The question in the OP was regarding a specific badge, ergo solution accepted. 

    I will test your question out later and see if i can find you a solution. 😛

    I would assume they didn't  mess about locking certain badges though...it's probably all of them.

    @MandatoryIDtag But ninja didn’t test the 4K one ;0 so the judge is still out on that one unless he had someone else do it.

    You are an apexer, go make a smurf account and test if all badges work or not! It’s in your job description! :P

    And this is why I made that thread that devs should post if a certain LTM has locked badges or not cause now it’s guesswork mixed with trial and error and speculation
