@MandatoryIDtag guys let’s be real. There’s 2 maps. We should not be forced to play 1 in every single playlist for 2 weeks, like the other guy in another thread said make duos one of the maps and trios the other and have them rotate so people never have to touch KC
@boy_Hoodle I've been saying exactly that since they added rotation, but demanding a map be removed because you don't like it isn't exactly the solution lol. 😛
@MandatoryIDtag yeah it’s called frustration and frankly I think it’s unfair for everyone to start acting like this map isn’t fundamentally flawed, it is, everyone here knows you Engage in any type of fight you get the whole server on you and that is simply not the case with worlds edge. It happens maybe 1/10 when Kings canyon is literally 10/10 and when the game first came out the first thing I recognized was how ugly Kings canyons was and it literally made me not wanna play, I thought the game was cool and wasn’t that interested, then when I came back I was hyped for worlds edge, nicer looking map color wise, no ugly disgusting wide open 3rd party desert, no pepega monster designed skull town you call it worlds edge babies, I call it too smart to play Kings canyon
the map is simply inferior to worlds edge. There’s no debate, 0 posts asking for worlds edge to be removed
some of you on this forum really do be making yourself look mean af by minimizing others frustrations because it doesn’t fit your narrative

And also is getting thirded because 3 teams land in every zone really fast paced gameplay? Or is it just a by product of a horrible map design? Because the teams third partying me aren’t wall bouncing or b hopping into me, it’s a caustic throwing his ult then holding m1 with a havoc . This isn’t some mechanically advanced player and nothing id call fast paced, just a guy who pulled up to a fight @Daze623 way more fast paced stuff happens in capitol building than on the entirety of KC

@Daze623 nor are your feelings about it being a good map LOL, nearly everyone I run into doesn’t have a good opinion about Kings canyon, you and your wrong feelings, mr. Ben Shapiro, are the minority. Just cause you like getting third partied constantly for whatever weird Stockholm syndrome reason doesn’t make the map good

It’s inferior, you may like it, but most don’t if it’s happening to preds, and me, who definitely play more than you, preds who finish fights insta and loot faster than you. It’s not either of those issues.

@MandatoryIDtagIt is an irony if u understand. I just wanna say that Respawn should not force us to play in one map. I don't have to play in KC that I hate because of mechanics for weeks. If player has a right to choose the map, demands on KC will be very low Respawn said. I said, then delete the map. I always be respectful to players who plays on KC. But I can't even play in WE. And yes, I third party the other teams too but i can say that reaching the fight area is very easy. It has no meaning when I do too. I dont say there should not be such as third party. Absolutely it should be. But in KC too difficult to find somewhere and time to use a battery.

KC was always the better map, and always will be better than WE.
Way too spaced out, you either get stuck in a 9 way clusterfight in Capitol or loot for 10+ minutes before seeing a single enemy player. It's either of those 2 extremes.
KC has a much more continuous experience fighting squads and usually a third/fourth party, but not completely overwhelming like the WE cap fights and the huge aggregations in choke points like trainyard when zone is closing.
Not to mention the problematic end game rings that auto-kills whatever squad is on the wrong side of the wall.
It's Worlds Edge, not Kings Canyon that has obvious design flaws, has too much running out in zone because the ring did not favor a drop at Refinery or whatever.
There was a lot of fuss about this when World's Edge first went live in season 3.

Wait, you're making yourself look a little bad here, I played this game almost since launch day, and i started playing this game because of seeing it on Shroud's steam.
Now, I spend a LOT of hours watching Shroud, Skadoodle, It'sWikED, Diegosaurs, Mendokusaii, Dizzy, Aceu, ShivFPS, Albralelie, ImperialHal and Reps from TSM, and a bunch of other pro players, and i have not heard a single one of those players EVER say that KC was a bad map.
On tho contrary, the overwhelming consensus from pro players was that the pacing in Apex was really really good, without lengthy downtimes.
Even Mendokusaii never complained about KC, and he's infamous for being a somewhat toxic complainer who leaves no stone unturned.
You're absolutely making up stuff about streamers/pro players supporting your standpoints here to add phoney weight to it, when in fact, they don't support your standpoints whatsoever, and never did.
Why do you do this? It's time to stop.
@boy_Hoodle Almost everything you tried stating as facts doesn't hold any weight and is either wrong or of your own opinion. The majority of streamers and preds preferred KC which, unlike WE, holds true to what APEX originally was and that's ''a fast paced shooter'' (inc 3rd + partying) which I can elaborate further and in more detail for you if you would like.

@apostolateofDOOM I just don't get this whole "Worlds edge has less third partying" myth.
I've played this map ALOT since it was first released, i've been in consecutive third party scenarios in maybe 80% of those matches, the other 20% that were quiet was because i dropped too far out or made bad rotation decisions finding nothing but looted areas and the occasional tumbleweed floating by.
It's not even like i'm that dude who nosedives straight at capitol or some other hot drop in every match either, i like a bit of loot before i rumble with others. This is what leaves me perplexed as to how these guys aren't experiencing much in the way of constant third partying lol.
@MandatoryIDtagIn WE it's still pretty common and usually all or nothing with a possibility of a 3rd rolling up depending on locations that fights occur but on KC you have an extremely high chance every single fight you take and wherever you are.
I know the lull between fights on WE can have a negative impact on your performance whereas KC will keep you on your toes constantly and consistently. From a content creators perspective having to travel across the map for up to 5+mins in some cases looking for a fight doesn't look great and generally more negative than being 3rd partied which granted are at times annoying but the preds and streamers that he mentioned are the best people to deal with such situations when they occur.
I don't have a problem with WE that much, I just prefer KC but it's those that have either only played the former and can't keep up in a faster paced scenario or have played both but do better in the latter are, on average, slower players ie worse, and thus the term WE babies was born.
Although there is a significant part of the community that still prefers KC which after the outcry is why they have drip fed it in various ways since S3, it's been with us well over a year and long past its heyday even with the current changes imo and even I wouldn't mind playing WE while patiently waiting for a new CQC map.
@apostolateofDOOM i never experience a lull on worlds edge, drop with people, drop capitol, there’s plenty of places to go and constantly be taking fights. And you have plenty of room and cover and buildings to kite and make plays. Beautiful map I love it so much.
