@Persistance55 I understand all of this, but I believe that Respawn is not doing all they can to prevent this.
They blame it that they prioritise short queues over balance, but the queues are basically instant, and I'm sure that most bronze to gold wouldn't mind waiting 2 minutes, to play without high ranks.
Also, it's not very hard to balance Apex. If you have ever managed a tournament and seen the data that YOU can get from it, imagine how much data Respawn is sitting on.
They could easily clean out smurfs in no time, and if they create a new account, they could be spotted again, in max 3 games.
I know that I moan for nothing because Apex knows that they would lose a lot of players if they made it hard for smurfs, so they don't.
They want to make money and I have both understanding and respect for that.
They should just be open about it and perhaps create more game modes that are more forgiving for less-skilled players.
I mean, the game itself is prime stuff.
With the ability to derank with poor performance the question begs to be asked. Why do you have to have drastic rank resets anyway? Two weeks in I don't think there are even any master players because there aren't enough that have made it out of diamond. Once you get through diamond at this point it is straight to pred. Some forethought would have made the resets way less drastic and let the derank mechanism sort out the ones that really shouldn't have been in the higher ranks instead of making the entire ranking system rookie - diamond.
