@decimation92@hayhor& @KelRiever and this is why there are so many connotations surrounding hot dropping! It’s because of you ppl (likely most will use the same definition as you guys I’m assuming xD)!

It’s not hot dropping if you wait to go to a highly-likely-to-be-overly-populated spot if that spot isn’t one of the first spots to drop! That’s called thrill seeking, suicide or stupid bravado!

Why do you think it’s called hot dropping! What do you do as soon as you get something hot in your hands? YOU DROP IT IMMEDIATELY! aka hot dropping is drop immediately when you can or max 5 secs at latest! That’s the definition I envisioned it meant when I first heard of the term ‘hot dropping’ cause it was most logical to me.

    Viva la hotdrop

@Koochi-Q This explains why you always talked about hot dropping and then we played and I was confused! 🤣
  • @hayhorI wanted to make this thread like 2 months ago but got bored and even hinted in another thread to making this thread ‘when I see that the time is right’, but just never did. Now I finally wanted to make it xD. But yea my definition is likely the opposite of most ppl’s xD

As you see, I usually drop straight down unless it’s not an area I like :P if there’s multiple teams, the better it is... unless like 5+ teams are there... then it’s just stupid to keep the trajectory even tho we’ll likely land first as you’ve come to expect from my drop skillz

  • Lol, the hot drop means landing on the "hot spot" aka where everyone else is landing.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks it's suicide to land like that. I was starting to think I'm playing Apex completely wrong judging from previous comments :D
