Re: How common are DDOS attacks?

@DaDeDimson Not as common as you would think, but not rare enough that you've never experienced one. DDOS attacks require having access to a ton of compromised devices. It's not like downloading a aimbot that you can use. You have to be fairly tech savvy to set one up and execute one. Most people can't.

    Sadly this is wrong and more common than you think. There are tools like low orbit ion cannon that make Ddossing really easy.
    The issue is that you cannot protect servers from this. Due to this corona pandemic, some script kiddies grab to this kind of thing when they rage or want to exploit things.
    But they don't understand that a denial of service attack can carry up to 10 years in prison.
