Re: I believe EA is acutally expecting those cheaters : )

I've been admin for several Source Engine games for almost a decade now. TF2, CS:GO, ect. Pretty much every hack I've seen in Apex thusfar has been copy/pasted from them. Even hacks that have long been abandoned against TF2 are prevalent here.  Whereas Steam sometimes manages to catch them, it's almost always up to the admins to nail the cheaters. VAC typically only catches 10% of them, probably less. Where this differs from those games, however, is that Steam and community managers have had time to build up defenses and whatnot over the years.

Apex is already a step behind. And if something isn't done, soon, it's going to die an ugly death and be buried in the plot behind EA headquarters where they've buried every other company EA has murdered or destroyed. (R.I.P Bullfrog, Westwood Studios, ect) Yes, every online game has hackers. Yes, EA [should] be prepared to deal with them, seeing as they run multiple massive online shooters. But the bottom line, they were not ready. And there was zero reason for then to be blindsided this hard.

And instead of focusing on dealing with the rising tide, they're more focused on pushing their Battlepass.
Don't worry, they say. We'll deal with it, they say. Don't talk about it, and it'll go away.
Just buy the Battlepass and everything will be right as rain.
And, of course, we should believe them. It's not like they're one of the most despised and un-trusted gaming companies out there.
