That sounds pretty messed up in my opinion! I have backed out in mid flight from drop ship because....If I can remember correctly I was on my 11th or 12th straight jump to Fragment. My random jump master pinged it and I replied "no" through ping system - he ignores me so I quit before hitting the ground and tried again. I was not jump master once in I think 12 straight matches. So if I don't want to jump to fragment for the 13th straight time .... I now will be punished for it!?!
Yeah sounds like a typical Respawn thing. That is ridiculous!
- @NickBeam27 Always choose your legend (even if it's the same legend you pre-selected) on the legend selection sctreen. The jumpmaster is the last person out of the three to select a legend, so if you are third you'll always get it, and second you might unless the third selects a legend.
Yesterday i played 3 matches in a row where i was jump master....i was in duos. I pinged sky hook one match and lava city another and my random both times ping fragment to suggest we go there. I ignored and they left me and went there anyway. This seems to be norm these days. I am surprised ppl arent bored of jumping there time and time again.
- @NickBeam27 While I agree it’s frustrating that randoms just wanna shoot, die and repeat, I will never land on Lava City, the outer half of skyhook, BH trials, and Big Maude (Rampart TT) in pubs. It’s just too far from the action. I’m fortunate enough to have a pre-made and our usual go spot is either Countdown, Lava Siphon, or even Launch site if it’s the first POI during drop since you can quickly loot then go fight in Lava siphon. Countdown and Lava Siphone are nice POIs where you’re guaranteed to face at least one squad on drop without being 8th partied like in Fragment. I totally get your frustration when I play solo.
- @Cheese9Man Trials isn't bad. Not like it was 1st couple seasons they released it.
All those are great POI's, I would give my kingdom to go to any of those places to avoid another fragment drop. : )
You never know. JM landed my team at the Tree yesterday and we had two teams to fight. It wasn't even directly under the ship.
- @pandareno1999 I've also had sweaty drop fights at Tree. I think a couple are on my channel lol.
- @pandareno1999 It seems like some people are finally getting bored of fragment. Lately I've seen people spreading out. It is strange.
