I am just going through the same kinda situation.  My account was set to a children's account due to my fat fingers and they would not change without proof of age, so I unlinked my account, I then asked them to delete my EA account which they said they did" even though I am using it right now🤔". I plan on creating the EA account again with the same email but ensuring my date of birth is correct.  I asked these questions in the chat with EA, but they did not respond to any questions outwith unlinking my account and deleting my account. Finding how to speak to someone on there is such a agonising process.  

If you are attempting to try to contact a support agent from EA. Question is! How many months are you willing to wait. I have a situation where my login verification has some one else's email. I can't go on line. Nor can I delete that email. I have tried to contact EA to fix the problem, but for the past 10 days. Nada. I fill out the chat info and either I get the volume of calls is too many, please try again later. Or where I fill in the info needed to start a Chat session, and the enter button remains grey, and no action is taken. So good luck with amending your problem. I hope your success is better than mine, as I'm still no further ahead.
