For every one of the people that say just let the game die, EA dont care etc ect etc, there will be way more just not caring, hacking away..playing their controllers, strike packs , configs and really, that's the honest truth. If a community really got together and boycotted an entity like EA, then you may see some change. That will never happen because of peoples addictions to gaming. Big corporate entities need to lose bigtime to institute changes. A 34 billion dollar company wont give 2 crapolas about what anyone here has to say about anything.

Have we not learned anything? Wishful thinking, that's all it is.

Live services – new monetization streams

Live services are one of Electronic Arts' best-performing revenue segment, reporting a one percent year-on-year-growth compared to 2023. This is hardly surprising, as gaming companies aim for players to engage with their games and services over longer periods of time, and purchase additional content designed to provide value top layers and extend and enhance gameplay. EA’s most popular live service is the extra content purchased for the Ultimate Team mode associated with its sports franchises Madden NFL and FIFA. The company stated that FIFA 23, EA SPORTS FC 24, Apex Legends, EA SPORTS Madden NFL 24, and The Sims 4 were the top revenue drivers for 2024. However, in 2024, full-game downloads were the segment with the biggest revenue increase. 

Judging by the playerbase and myself who put in a lot of effort for feedback when they turned a once great game, I would even say the best game, to whatever hellspawn they created now. My Apex Legends died in season 17. I no longer recognise whatever they call is Apex Legends. Judging by the amount of decline in players I would not be surprised if the game will be cut out of support soon because of the smaller earnings. Once that is cut down more than it has been more players will soon fade away too.

There are a lot of things that could be done better to increase revenue. That's hard to do when players completely lose interest in a game

for various reasons. There have been so many changes to the game, and sometimes too much change is  bad thing especially when we live in the

era of "instant gratification" where most people don't want to work hard to get anything.

A player plays a certain Legend, gets good at using it accordingly, with set squads mates even...and then they nerf or rewrite how that legend is going to

operate on the battlefield, and people lose their poop over it. It changes everything. Same goes for the weapons, drops, shields and on and on.

We all know how bad the hacking is, and frankly...after watching all these controller players play, and watch reticles gravitate towards the target with little effort and get huge

damage hits, is it any wonder why so many Pro's have openly voiced why they switched ? Its a no brainer. It just wouldn't have happened if the advantage was not so obvious.

I would prefer to have the option to NOT play with an aim assist controller player. Its a simple ask, but that will never happen.

I would spend money on the game, but we always seem to be waiting for the same dam things to be fixed that never happen. Just more wrenches thrown in to the mix.

Legends abilities being changed all the time, Weapon nerfs on some, but then another is made way OP. An example is how everyone now is flying around with Mastiff's

running and gunning when you would have never seen that before. So many ppl playing Gibby and Newcastle because of their OP buffs. When's the last time Bangalore ever got a buff

and why is it that people seem to see right thru the Bang smoke and are able to track you , from distance. Its ridiculous. Lifeline gets to fly??? and has a shield you can throw down that people can just lob grenades over the top and waste you all ?  Its Gibbys shield with the top cut off....oh joy.

I dunno man, subtle change is ok, but wow, feeling the need to change so much at once is over the top. Whatever happened to having beta tester servers for that before implementing it??

Nope, now its like 'HEY, SURPRISE..we're gonna throw a big wrench into things, then sit back with popcorn and watch the mayhem ensue !

I will say the current changes are pretty hard to follow. Loba is wayyyyy OP. Every game goes like this, drop, fight, one or two die, run craft respawn. Rinse repeat until the game is over. I've respawned people like 4 and 5 times a game. That is just nuts. 

@c0ld1 Not too mention, I think far too many players, especially in ranked, have either no idea or just don't care how to approach a fight.

So many want to be lone wolfs and push a fight they have no business being in, and die instantly....knowing that their team mates can

pick them up again relatively easily now, sometimes 3 or 4 times if your really lucky.

As a player who never plays with a set squad, I find more times then not that I am having to respawn team mates who push fights and die instantly.

Jumping into fights without having support is just selfish and proves the point....YOUR NOT AS GOOD AS YOU THINK YOU ARE, so have a seat  lol.

Everyone being able to craft banners has IMO opened the door for players to play without thinking and rely on TM to respawn them.

You don't have to even think about the makeup of  your squad anymore. 

Yea, I don't even play any other character besides support. There's no point.
