New map - ok good.

Rest of the stuff - totally irrelevant, not playing this game to look at my skins, weapons or overcrowd my HUD with heirloom and its ongoing animations that are damn distracting.

Season 11 - spoiler alert - will probably crash as much as every previous one because Respawn's attention is on visuals, money-making not actually improving game mechanics.

    @Eshshshssspeaking of HUD, I don't understand why the survival kit slot is not being filled until now.
    since Respawn introduced the survival kit ( heat shield and mobile respawn ) they added one more slot which can be found after the name of each player where you can see what shield and ammo type this player is using, this slot is supposed to show which survival kit this player is having in their inventory, this is very important and very nice quality of life improvement if implemented.
    instead of dropping the heat shield, ping it then pick it up again just to let your teammates know that you got a heat shield XD

    See, it's comments like this that * me off.

    So, you know for *CERTAIN* that it's just money making visuals they are focusing on.  As someone with a software background I can pretty much assure you the people making cosmetics are not the same people engineering the game.  Given the volume of cosmetics coming out I doubt they have loads of people working on that, I'd easily bet the development/technical team is far larger than the artists working on visuals.  I really hate it when people make sweeping statements like that; you literally don't know what you are talking about.

    The state of the game isn't great, I agree.  There are glitches that still need to be ironed out.  I've noticed an improvement from the last patch but more needs to be done.

    I am pretty sure they are aware of that and that it's costing them money and reputation.  But bleating with statements like that doesn't help and is probably completely untrue.

    I just hope that they will buff Wattson enough so she can counterattack Ash and will also be useful in many cases. I don't want to see that she's at Top 5 tho, ngl xd

    Guys, ive taken a look into my crystal ball.

    -Huge server problems and massive disconnects are coming. (Don't panic, shop will be fine)

    -new SMG will be nerfed 7 days after release.

    -Ash will be "adjusted" 14 days after release.

    -Watson is not beeing fixed

    -the animated banner problem goes rampart

    -they have no clue how to fix it as it is very complicated.

    -new map will have two areas where you fall straight though the surface but stay unharmed while wandering below the surface.

    Don't be to hyped girls n boys, dark times are coming. 

    There will be the day when you remember back to season 10 , when everything worked so well.

    ThordanSmash, I guess a pretty reliable guy when it comes to leaks, has more details on the Goliaths inside of the map. He can't show the pictures since these are insider leaks. As usual, take this with a grain of salt. He got the leak from a tester.

    Goliath Details:

    - Goliaths are around a foot taller than Path or Gibby.

    - Twice as thick as Gibby.

    - They have a lot of HP.

    - THEY CAN 2 SHOT YOU (that can be annoying)

    - They don't run in packs are only 1 at a time.

    @Cheese9Man Wait, so they're really going to have AI roaming the map that can/will attack you?! Uh oh...

    I only ever played the demo for TF1, so I'm not familiar with the leaked SMG, but I'm definitely excited to see the new gun/map/legend! Even with the issues, I still play Apex most days, so I will always welcome new content. They need to make it awesome though, because Jurassic World Evolution 2 comes out soon (Nov. 9), as does Halo Infinite (Dec. 8), so I'll definitely be spending time on both of those titles once available. If the new season still gives me the "meh" vibes, it'll just mean I spend MORE time on those games, Haha

    @dSKyNafinchin They said that the creatures will be in enclosures like a safari type of zoo so they're not really roaming around. They're in a POI like the Bloodhound trials in WE but wider and more open.

    Same here, I haven't played any titanfall games. Ash will be a good fan service to those who loved TF2. I might pick it up and play the campaign if it goes on sale for $5 (500 yen) again on the PS Store. Crossing my fingers for a smooth season launch. I'm pretty sure the devs are also nervous as hell. LOL.

    Jurassic World Evolution looks cool! If only I have a good gaming PC I would play a lot of those sim games like Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo. Halo will be big but no one touches that game in my country since no one has an xbox. Kinda curious though if PC players here in Japan will try it out since it's F2P.

    @Cheese9Man Oh ok, I can dig that!

    I've thought about picking them both up to play through, just so I can better understand the lore that crosses over to Apex. I did enjoy the demo back in the day, but the game didn't feel like something I would play through a 2nd time, so I never spent the money on it when it was new.

    For JWE, my original release Xbox One runs it just fine, and I believe it's also available on PS. I'm sure there are benefits to running it on PC, but I couldn't even tell you how many hours I've logged on Xbox on the first one. If you like Jurassic Park/dinosaurs and Zoo Tycoon-ish games, I would HIGHLY recommend JWE. I have so much fun on there, and really cant wait for the new one to drop

    For me, I mainly play Halo for the campaign these days. I still remember picking up Halo: CE shortly after it first dropped, thinking "what the heck is this? I'll try it out, I suppose". Fell in love. Played countless hours. I've gotten every subsequent title on release day, but I haven't really been a fan of multiplayer since H3. Reach killed the fun for me, with that armor lock BS, and I just haven't really vibed with the multiplayer since H3. I still play through the campaign from start to finish, somewhat regularly though (currently running through again, in honor of Infinite). I also love ODST and Wars, but they are somewhat slept on. I'm looking forward to the Infinite campaign, and will likely give multiplayer a shot, at least.

    I completely understand about not many people having an Xbox though. Is Xbox really that sparse in Japan? I never would have thought that. (Sorry for such a long-winded response)

    @dSKyNafinchin Everyone has a Switch and a PS4 here. The ads for Nintendo are everywhere here. You can even see Mario dictating the safety protocols in some train lines. Like any country, people tend to support or buy the products that were created from your home country. Like there's a lot of Xbox players in the USA. On the other hand, the odd thing is that EVERYONE here uses an iphone. Probably because Japanese phones suck nowadays. LOL.

    I might try JWE out! How was the controls? I've played a lot of Cities Skylines on PS5 with a bluetooth MnK so that it's easier.

    @Cheese9Man That definitely makes sense. I wish they had Mario on workplace postings in the US, Lmao!! I've actually always had all 3 brands in my house. Grew up on NES and Sega Genesis. Pretty much played every Nintendo console/handheld, aside from the Switch (will have one eventually). Also have had all PS and Xbox consoles (aside from the newest two. Waiting for price drop, as always). I mainly play on Xbox these days though

    JWE is awesome!! I honestly haven't ever had an issue with the controls on it, or on Cities Skylines on Xbox. Cities would definitely benefit more from MnK, but JWE really doesn't need it. It's been about 2 months since I've been on there, but I've logged several hundred hours on there, and cant recall ever complaining about the controls. I feel like you would enjoy it, whether on controller or MnK. I know placing objects looks a bit easier on PC, but I've never felt hampered by playing it on controller

    @Cheese9ManBtw, Cheese. Do we know which map opens the Ranked season? The new one? Hope it is, as it's always WE that opens a new season and with the game always being unplayable (dumb new legends/guns, server issues, etc.) for +2 weeks in a new season, kinda cuts into one's WE time. 😒

    @CCbathwater My guess would be the new map will be the first split. I'm pretty sure they'll shove that new map down our throats for a week or two.

    I've seen Stormpoint in a video by a popular Apex news youtuber. The islands are very separated and are all connected by a bridge. Think of Salvage in KC where there are multiple islands with bridges. I think it's hard to rush those POIs since you can get easily beamed on the bridge.
