I really like all of these except for removing buildings in parts of KC.  The new map.looks very cool.  So much better than the Legend leaks.  God, some.of those were awful.

A new map is great.  I'm more worried about the state of characters.  Defense characters are massively trashed right now, and I honestly am not interested in certain maps for certain characters shenanigans.   That's one of the many nonsense approaches Overwatch took, and while it can make sense, to me it does not when you are asking for money for every skin and gun from people.  Besides which, if you're really doing your job, each character should be universally capable, and it up to the player to provide the skill to win.

Never stop expanding business models for games all have this flaw.  At it's core, it is inevitable failure.  At some point, because you give up balancing your game characters, maps, weapons, whatever you have, the game will collapse under its own broken weight.  We're pretty much there as far as I see it, with 20 characters, many of which are not competitive right now.

I believe you can make money simply making your game better, not knocking marketing or appeal, especially when new skins is where all the phat dough is at.  But a bad game makes far less money, you can see no skin purchase business model or added characters will ever save a bad game.  While new maps are critical based on the way this game is, new characters are not a necessity.

Sadly, like most games, this looks like a game driven with a rear view mirror.  After problems have stuck around far too long, are things fixed...and that's if they are (hello, sound problems).  I've seen Respawn improve its game for the better, and do it in a way that's not cowardly with baby steps.  Hoping the positive wit shines through here, instead of a formula which gets us fast back to the bottom of the barrel.
