That is true . But in other hand , when you found your teamate is a bot do nothing after landing except farming XP , you will quit by no hope . Or a teamate have bad manner , you will rage quit too .

If you have no hope or rage you are free to leave but you must give up your earnings. Simple and fair. Isn't it better than time penalty? If there is no punishment, it would be unfair to those who play the game properly. On the other hand, there will be those who are punished unjustly when there is a punishment. That is the nature of the system, there is nothing to do about it. it is not possible to make everyone happy at the same time.
