Re: People that use a mic need to learn how to ping !!!
I was playing as Pathfinder in a group with a German duo, when we were down to the last 2 squads on the border of Repulsor and Hydro Dam, where there's a high wall.
The last player in the enemy squad was on top of the wall. But I didn't know, as the Germans - who were using mics - didn't say where the enemy was, and didn't ping the location either.
One of the Germans was downed across the bridge. The other one German kept saying "put a zipline!". So I put it across the bridge. The one who asked for it had already gone over the bridge and revived our teammate.
The one who asked for the zipline then went absolutely mad. Yelling and yelling to put a zipline. I started to get a bit shaken, and I couldn't think because he was being so abusive.
Eventually, the zipline was off cooldown and I put it up to a part of the roof. I didn't do it very well but I managed ot get up there and fight the enemy but he killed me and the one who was yelling.
This person was now going completely bonkers with the verbal abuse over his mic. It was disturbing.
I decided to stay and see who won even though the abuse was horrendous.
As the last circle closed in on the Repulsor side, the 2 surviving players duelled it out and we won. We were champions!
But what an ordeal.
So, I agree with you that players should ping when they are using their mics. At least when it's important.
