@Deliberus Hmm, I do like the Mastiff honestly.

BUT

It is not a rival of the SMG's.

The Prowler, R-99 & Volt are miles ahead of the Mastiff. I've never seen anyone get two shotted with it when having full purple, gold or red shield it just doesn't hit right at that stage of the game.

I usually run Hemlok & Volt, or Hemlok & Prowler. I love using Volt & Prowler though.

@rockyboy1998 Except Mastiff is a rival for the SMGs that fits the same role, but with a different playstyle.

R-99 is currently the top dog, the Prowler used to share it but it's a care package weapon now and Volt has scarce ammo supply. While you may not see people being 2 shot, I certainly do, especially in CQC when corner peeking.

@rockyboy1998 Mastiff hits hard if you can land shots with it. 100 damage a shot..

@DarthValtrex Isn’t that head shots though? I didn’t think for a second it was 100 to the upper body?

@rockyboy1998 100 dmg upper body. It can hit up to 110 if I’m correct full body and headshot is 145 or 155
