Every season, they always have huge misshap in top level decision & game design.

This time they invited pro-player/content provider. I'm surprised they didn't exposed this glaring pain point.

Probably they were just invited for 8 hours, they played with new account so they didn't buy BP on it, so they didn't pay attention to the battle pass progression.

You can see from their release content, they all discussed about Horizon, patches, and new map. None of them discuss about BP.

@asukojo all the content creators they invited were sponsored by EA, or at least from the people I watched, they were sponsored by it.
AKA, they probably signed a contract to not say anything BUT positives about the new season. It's not an uncommon thing, and content creators who genuinely have criticisms about the game (like ShivFPS) don't get sponsored by EA because they're more willing to say to the people, "Hey this sucks major rear."
The new BP was an intentional change, don't let anyone fool you into thinking that this was an, "Oopsie doopsie, we messed up teehee" change.
