Re: SBMM ruin stats!

@MemagNemanOh I get matched with noobs or players who seem like noobs. I had one two nights ago, my squad mate and I carried him to his first win. It was also the first time he was able to actually play and gain experience. I just did my best and he said it was his funnest match yet. I think it happens when the servers are slow. I went onto play a few more rounds with him. Ya we struggled and rarely broke top 5, but we made the best of it.  He got some experience and had some fun.

That experience aside. We all have bad matches. We all have bad drops. We all do dumb things from time to time. Just because your random has it happen does not mean they are a noob. I’ve also been matched with players who are not as aggressive as me. If I constantly push hard, they start to struggle. You also have to consider, high rank lobbies are going to have teams who communicate and work together.. hard to beat that when your team is not doing it.

What’s it matter? Are you getting paid to game? Nope.. just make the best of it and have fun.

either way high skill players should not be in lobbies with players who have a .5 KD and a difficult time posting 500 damage. How do you expect the low skill players to have fun? And the player population to grow?

    @DarthValtrex

I get that you don't understand the pits of bad MM, cause you have a (mostly) constant fun experience.

Because you get matched with similar skilled players. I did not. I get 2 players like you in my team , to go against premade stacks of predators and diamonds.

You will land badly and die, or rush and die in 30sec or do something stupid, same with the other guy, and then I am left alone for the rest of the match which hasn't even started properly.

That's not even remotely fun. I'd be fine is I had soloQ. If I am bad I am bad, no problems, I will face preds and whomever. But when game gives me bad teammates it leaves me with frustration. That matters, my experience. They are not the same skill level as me, simply no , that's the problem with matchmaker. Pubs should be random, and ranked should be ranked and give me that experience.

I don't play games to get paid not did it ever occur to me to view my gaming habits as a job or chore. I can get paid or not, it doesn't matter in the end, it's the experience from the game that matters. Enter S3, the experience is bad. Game has many old issues, sound, graphics, net, updates and patches are slow, no new weapons, no new legends or existing legend balancing, I can take it all for some time but then I just won't care anymore about the neglect and will quit the game.

I agree, high skill players should not be in the lobbies with low skill players, in ranked.

Pubs should be ~random but take into consideration number of premade squads and soloQ.

That way you can learn and have fun,IMHO.

You won't learn if you constantly play with noobs, you won't have fun if you are constantly wiped.

    Balance that out.

Low skill players don't make a good content and promo for a game, high skill plays do.

They attract new people to go and play the game , buy * in store and make EA some profit.

Also more players mean more content for $whales to cash out and play the game.

They should care about all of the profiles in their population, however.

Not just noobs cause they are bigger % of the pop nor whales cause they have * tons of cash to burn.

Player population is not growing, the Apex trend is that it's going down since the launch.By the looks of it they don't seem to worry about it so much.

It comes down to few people who decide what and when to do stuff in game. I feel sorry for the actual devs who make content for the game.

They can grow population by fixing bugs, faster development of the legends and weapons, maps, other content, more modes to play, cheaper cosmetics/packs etc.

  • @MemagNeman They release a new legend every two months, a new LTM every month, new weapon every two months, new updates every month, and new cosmetics every month. It takes about 6 to 9 months to develop a legend and over a year to develop a map. Considering the dev team size, I would say its a lot of content

I just...don't care about the details to be frank.

They can leave some of the LTM in game, their patches don't fix old glaring issues, and they introduce new bugs and issues.

Their legend balancing is almost non existent , weapon balancing is ridiculous and then too slow to revert the damage done. It's not rocket science.

I know cosmetics generate money, but IMHO they should fix the core game (sound, net, crashes caused by whoknowswhat) first.

I know "they are working on it" but it's just too slow. At least my feeling right now.

I am not sure if the same people who designed/made the game work there anymore.

They can hire or transfer over more people to work on their baby. They said they want to support it for 10 years right?

I think the game will barely pull out of it's first year.

It's not going to ruin my reputation or my job if they are slow and sloppy.

I loved the game, this state is just sad.

    - I'd like to know what takes the most time when developing a legend for half a year. Design or modeling, perhaps animation, voice acting, what?

If they are releasing them every 2 months they will, at one point, be stuck since they have will nothing to show for if the legend library is depleted.

@MemagNeman “When game gives me bad teammates” then it’s not SBMM, create a premade squad and your Problem is solved..

No I don’t die from bad drops unless my teammates drop poorly but I almost always drop solo and go to wherever they ping. I know how to drop and get to the location first. I constantly play with randoms and deal with bad teammates all the time. I don’t really care, i make the beat of the situation and have fun with it.

I also frequently pull this kind of thing off.. https://youtu.be/653EMeffvTE

Now you’re complaining about other issues. I don’t disagree there.

So it works but then it's not the system's fault that it gives me bad teammates?

Not everyone has friends playing Apex, the game should offer good experience for all from the get go.

If I must have premade to play and enjoy the game what's the point in playing it at all. Hell even professional players quit Apex.

People are tired. It's not up to people to solve game's problems, it's devs job.

You are lower tiered player I guess , you barely even notice any change.

You will get potato mates, but you will also play against potatoes ( I watched the video).
