I think this is sarcasm.  It's difficult to tell if someone like the OP is just joking without hearing their voice.

No way there is anything good about this season, lol.  Let's hope they fix it soon. 🙂

Just because something doesnt work for you it doesnt mean its same for everyone else.
Below graph shows actually very steep growth after many months of going down. 

I too have my issues with the S20 updates but if we look at the big picture, it looks like most of the people are liking it. 

That to me is a good thing because for the matchmaking to work there needs to be plenty of players. 

Also the fact that top ranked players now have to wait again for long times in queue instead being put against lower ranked lobby players is a huge buff for my game experience as a casual joe gamer. Sure there will be smurfs running in ranked but thats just unavoidable in F2P games. 

I don't know how I would rate this season.  I am still playing as casual as ever.  Nothing very new in map updates or new legend.  Not that we need more legends, I am still recovering from that last one they introduced. I seldom find any use for her.  With no material cans (goo containers),  there is no rewards for using harvesters, and the newly skinned replicators seem to only sell ammo, banners, health and shields.   We have to grab EVOs or do something to score EVO points now.  I haven't seen any purple armor laying around anywhere.  I went on as Loba and not even a blue armor upgrade was found. Sure there are helmets but the armor just doesn't spawn.  I found some yellow in a vault but that doesn't count for the upgrade components to be added.

I am not hating this season, but I seen no premium reward in the Battle Pass I am drooling to obtain.  The way I see this is a remake of some of the mechanics.  I seem to have less to do in the challenges as well.  Everything is more damage focused that ever.  Depending on when you play, the crowd seems extra blood thirsty.  This actually works for my play style.  For example; I finished in the top 5 in 4 out 4 matches. One of them was third place.  Most of the squads (50% or more) are dead before the first ring closes.  I play for survival points which is still more than anyone can get for kills or wins.

I am not loving this season either.  It seems like a stale cracker you find under the couch cushions and wonder how it will taste.  To the starving man it means some needed calories and to rest of us it is something you toss out.  For this being their 20th season and 5th year running, I would have expected something more spectacular.  This season is just meh... well I do like playing on Olympus.

I know what the graphs say, but I am seeing people around me quitting in groves because they can no longer play the game.  At least half of my friends list are not playing currently over these issues.  

I think the spike in players are because people have heard about the changes, new legend unlock challenges, and new mode and they want to try it out of curiosity and unlock the legends.   Once they do if the game isn't fixed I'm willing to bet these figures will drop drastically.   Especially if the constant crashing, lagging, movement, and gun issues aren't fixed.  The new perks aren't really my issue even though I'm not crazy about them, but the way the game was slowed down and altered.

old cheat work without problem on new season this is not good. this team kill half of all lobby finish with 35 kills...wow quantity of headshot confirm aimbot and wallhack user....
