Re: Separating Politics from Gaming/Gamers

Hey @ChingChilling, please do not share images or accuse other users of breaking the rules as doing so is technically a breach of the AHQ User Rules and Guidelines

If you are in game and another user is rude or abusive then please report them by following the steps in this link: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/apexlegends/contact/report/

We take all reports very seriously and will fully investigate.

    1. A lot of people forget that this game is global. What's an acronym for something notorious in one country or language, can be a totally different thing in other countries or languages (some examples related to my country / language: PSD stands for a very well known file format globally, but in Romania is a major party behind a lot of controversy, Pula is the name of a well known  city in Croatia, but is by far the most used slang for 8==D in our country, a curve is a geometrical object in English, but in Romanian is the main slang for prostitutes ).Actually, different meanings can be found even in the same language, for example maga tree flower (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thespesia_grandiflora).
    2. Even if the OP's club name would precisely refer that political slogan, people are free to have their own views, that's the idea with freedom and democracy. It's kind of pointless to debate about these in a chat that barely works as it is, inside a game where you have to focus on so many other things and which happens in a fictional universe that has nothing to do with the current reality.
    3.  If you actually want to be that boring person and debate over these inside the game, do it in a non-aggressive, non-judgemental, non-demeaning manner. First, make sure and ask if it's what you think it is, so that you don't find yourself raging about and then ruining your stats and probably getting a ban too because of a tree flower. Also, make sure you do a good job as a teammate in parallel and not get interrupted by squad elimination.
    4. We live in a super sensitive world right now and, while it's impossible to not offend someone even by breathing, it may be wiser to avoid well known triggers. On the other hand, I've seen  many offensive game names in Apex, which makes me think that Apex playerbase's skin is thick enough. Or...should all those get banned?
