This happened to my buddy today in a Control match as well.
@pandareno1999 did it go away for your buddy?
@hayhor @pandareno1999 seems sporadic as to the players it hits then. Hope its gone by tonight, so I can start the ranked games in the new split. Going to get creamed otherwise, trying to hipfire while also trying to resist using a scope.
Yeah, but I can't remember whether the bug persisted for the entire match, or just for the one life.
I've just seen a slough of fresh reports of this bug on Reddit, so I would guess that the bug is widespread, and is also a known issue for Respawn at this point.
