- @OldTreeCreeper Preds are allowed to play in bronze lobbies if you don't play ranked for a season. Respawn allows Smurfs basically
- @OldTreeCreeper nah smurfing is cheating regardless of what game mode you play. Smurfing is a way for people to by pass matchmaking so they can have a more "relaxed" game. Smurfs are often used by people so they can play with lower rank friends or feel better about themselves.
- @BaldWraithSimp that's an interesting point. But a few seasons would have passed to drop down from predator to bronze so, while they may be good players they wouldn't be as competitive as before until they get rank fit, and would quickly move back up the ranks with their account if they decided to play a lot of ranked
Smurfs on the other hand are rank fit now and have not had a few seasons break from ranked play. Their bronze rank is not representative of their actual rank status.
@Daze623 or which has been stated already to have a bit of fun like the celebs, it is a game after all.
- @OldTreeCreeper That doesn't change the fact smurfs bypass a system that was put in place to ensure people enjoy a fair game. So yeah it's still cheating.
- @OldTreeCreeper One season to drop from Predator to Bronze actually. Predators will never drop down to Bronze skill level lol
@Daze623 there is no respawn rule to stop anyone having 2 or more accounts to enjoy the game. So no it's not cheating.
@BaldWraithSimp 1.5 tiers per split, 3 per season, so its going to take a bit longer than 1 season to drop to bronze from predator. I agree it's unlikely, but some take time off of the pressure of ranked and drop automatically. I made it to diamond and then stopped for a while. It was not deliberate but I wasn't enjoying ranked, soon enough I was in bronze 4. Back in now playing with youngtree (he is not being carried) and we're both in gold for now.
- @OldTreeCreeper lol not all kinds of cheating is a bannable offense. There are those who abuse bugs in game and some of them don't get banned. There's no rule saying people can't have multiple accounts but they do have this in their EULA: "Engage in any other activity that significantly disturbs the peaceful, fair and respectful gaming environment of an EA Service." so they can technically ban people for "smurfing".
Just to clear things out we're not talking about having multiple accounts, we're talking about smurfing. Not everyone who have multiple accounts are smurfing. - @OldTreeCreeper You drop from Predator to Plat II at the end of a season. Then 1.5 tier per split, 3 per season in next, so you end up in bronze by the end of the season. You didn't account for season end reset. Predators should never go below Platinum ranked ever, they are allowed to smurf plain and simple. Heck, I don't belong in Bronze and silver lobbies. But Respawn allows me to smurf every seadon unless I grind to diamond.
@BaldWraithSimp I don't know anymore, so I'll have a cup of tea please and a nice cream buiscut 😃
