Re: Stop whining, start exploring and adapting!

@Silz616 It's not entitlement, the ''I want brigade'' as you call it who are asking for more content when playing the same map for well over 6 months are getting bored. I think is fair to ask for more maps/modes when yes KC had small changes but in essence it's the same.

Lots obviously don't like the new content as it moves away from the style of fast paced shooter we originally started playing and was advertised.

We had Elite and people spoke out against camping but they put it into ranked (to get rid of hot drops and fits into the ''comp scene'' I understand this but makes it boring af to play and watch).

Anything used often that people enjoy gets floored to expand the use of other items or legends but have they changed the longbow? Hell no, that fits into the camping meta they are promoting when almost everyone I have spoken to prefer the high intensity short/mid range fights.

Loot one area in the new map and it can take quite awhile to get elsewhere and if you don't have a weapon or armour you will get caught with your pants down, you call that fun?

I personally preferred the military style/sci fi fast paced shooter compared to this lava demon, ice golem, fortnite feeling, camping meta that S3 brought. It feels cheap and tacky but not all is doom and gloom..

I love having a new area to explore, high rise buildings and train are a great addition and the lava effects look cool but the game is moving away from its potential in my eyes and I have gone from playing loads to couple hrs here and there with the hope but not expectation they will pull it back.

So when players have already given the feedback but they release what they don't want/enjoy, I fully understand when they complain.

@apostolateofDOOMYou're crazy if you think that S3 has more camping than S2. S2 wattson meta was by far the pinnacle of camping in this game (take a house and do nothing - optimal play 95% of the time). S3 feels MUCH more dynamic (well it will probably settle down to something slower, but as slow as S2? - I don't see it ever happening).
If you can't deal with snipers - that's strictly your l2p problem.

Charged rifle does a bit too much damage, but not on a problematic level. It just pushes other snipers out a bit. And it's definitely still not a viable weapon in CQC.

Double CQC loadouts are definitely viable, as long as you DON'T IGNORE the existence of snipers. If you try to get close to them through an open area while they're shooting you - well I dunno what to tell you, don't do that?

  • @Biochemikas I don't have a problem with snipers, either using or against and I still haven't played enough of the new map to really say much on it.
I meant on the evolution of the game since launch and the opinion/complaints towards the fun factor.

The only issue I have is the cartoon style creeping through that is starting to look like fortnite and is really putting me off the game.

I can agree on the color scheme of the new map. It's atrocious (especially the bright yellows). But so far I've seen only praise for it, so I'll stay as the silent minority.

P.S. I'm probably going to make separate color profile on my monitor just for this map of apex with heavily reduced saturation and maybe even contrast. I don't know how much I'll be able to take this oversaturated landscape playing with normal monitor settings.
