Re: The Elite Experience!

@Biochemikas

So you are saying you got your (super impressive) streak by camping in storm lol that’s cute you are the type of player op is talking about but have a nice day because I will not respond when you start talking about how you don’t camp in the storm when that is the only way storm damage would bother you and apparently it bothers you lol

    When do I say I don't camp. I do ANYTHING I think help me win the game (that's literally the essence of the genre). My by far favorite tactic in PubG solo has always been looting until 15-20 ppl left and then racing to the zone from the other side of the map on a bike (and then murdering half the ppl in top10, since they tend to hold spots I want).

    The time of endgame is set by the zone timings. It's of course safer to NOT participate in any engagements until then. Ppl who fight do it for the sake of fighting, not to win the game. I do a lot of fighting often myself, but I don't consider that I'm playing to win when I do that. I know I'm playing the game in an improper way when I do that.

    And for the zone damage, there is reasonable damage and there's damage that's so horribly too high that's not even funny. If you can't even use a healing item without moving an inch in the first zone - it IS way too high. Add no vehicles and bugged balloons and you've got yourself recipe for unavoidable deaths.

    The goal of the zone is ONLY to limit game length, not to kill ppl.

    The zone doesn’t kill anyone that is not inside it seems to me like it is doing its job now and it didn’t use to just my opinion

    Nah I think you're wrong to assume that the only reason someone would think new elite storm damage is overtuned is because they camp in storm.

    Yesterday, I dropped, won a fight, and then had to run to ring a.s.a.p. to make it.

    I was literally a few meters away form the ring's edge when storm caught up to me, and those few meters were too far to make it in.

    This was the first zone shrink, and I could not even make it back in despite being a stones throw away. With current ring damage. You automatically lose if you drop on the wrong side of the map.

    You land, and simply because your squad got tangled up in combat with another team, you won't make it in time anymore, and if there is no other team where you landed, you're not even allowed to loot anything if the ring is far.

    You have to start running right away, only to find empty buildings, already ransacked by the time you're in the ring, leaving you with barely any gear to fight the remaining teams.

    It creates a drastic need to all drop dead center of the map, bad for the game.
