Alternator. I don't know why but I seem to hit so many headshots with it thus I'm able to knock people quite quickly. Can't say the same for any other gun though.

That's right. It's actually pretty decent early on. If you land and all you find is a mozambique I don't want to hear complaints. It does 45 damage to unarmored players. You know what else does that much damage? The wingman. 3 rapid fire shots on target will kill anything that doesn't have body armor.
As soon as someone finds white armor you're screwed tho. Obviously because of clip size.
I have had quite a few occasions early game with double Mozambique and squad wiped. If you could get ext mags with it I think it would be a fairly decent weapon.
Alternator: well tbh it's such a strong gun in TF2 I thought it would be the same in apex but it's not a mid/late game gun. Why would you choose it over the R99 or Prowler with select fire? Or even the R301 or havoc? It is probably the most disappointing of all weapons for me being a titanfall fan to see my favourite gun from that series being sub par
As far as the G7 goes. Yea it does less damage than the Longbow but its more spamable, unless you are godly with the longbow I guarantee the G7 will kill faster when going against a full armour enemy.
I hope Respawn add the CAR and VOLT smg's at some stage, imo it would be good to add a couple close range weapons that are up with the PC, Wingman and R99.
