The EA Play subscriptions gives 10% discount on apex coins. See image below.

If you sign up, you will get these discounts right away and be able to save some money on the event packs.

The event packs themselves are not discounted, but the apex coins you buy are.

Yes, I even believe that if you cancel your subscription after you payed for 1 month, you will still keep EA Play for the rest of the month!

@DYSPROssium I have over 5,000 cm saved up. That wraith heirloom via the event is looking more attractive by the minute. 😃

That's a lot! I got like 4000 metals, but I am not sure if I am going to spend it.

With 4000 metals, I'm still looking at a price of 100,- euros. And, I cannot buy an heirloom for my main as Horizon doesn't have one yet!

I'll probably wait for next year!

@OldTreeCreeperYou have enough crafting materials to buy all the purples. That's 8400 coins worth of event packs done for nothing. Then they give you 2 which will be the gold ones. Another 1400 coins(opened in packs). Then you buy the bundle that give 2 of the gold skins plus packs and you should have your heirloom for a big discount on what people pay during a normal event.

Note you should craft all the purples and buy the bundles before opening any packs, including the free ones.
