@Marge010 I've never tried a smaller monitor but usually the refresh time is shorter. Plus you see the whole screen more. Tvs have come a long way tho. Most decent rated ones for gaming have times that are low enough now. I personally prefer my TV just because I sit in an office chair all day and would much rather be on the couch.

since there is no 120hz support yet for the consoles, it doesnt really apply that the smaller TVs are better.
as @hayhor mentioned smaller monitors might have a higher refresh rate than the bigger ones, but that does only apply to pc gamers since they can up the frame rate to actually profit from the refresh rate
