i think in general the battle royale genre favors those who play the ring well, we saw this with fortnite. Some of the top win ratios were people who played ring instead of going for frags, i think this is mostly because respawn is trying very hard to make apex a Battle royale and to stick to the aspects of the genre, Inheriently Battle royales are survival games and frankly titanfall is a better game if you like going for frags.
