I'd play ranked if there wasn't skill based matchmaking in ranked.  Go play ranked if you want other bots to plays against.  Pubs is for the luck of the draw

It will have negative effect on majority of player base. Only winners here are these 2% (actually more... maybe even up to 20%) and in this case Apex will lose players.

Well then all the players that lose should go play ranked.  We've had this system of no sbmm in shooters for 20 years and it has worked fine and people still play games.  What about the enormous success of previous call of dutys?

@ErectRainbow Old games like Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 or CS 1.6 allowed players to pick servers. You know what happens when a match was totally one sided? The ones being destroyed left and move to another server.

If Respawn removes SBMM something similar will happen to Apex. In any case, I will mention again that if you really don't want SBMM go a play with friends duos/trios. Since Apex prioritise matching premades against one another the resultant skill disparity in the same lobby will be exactly what supposedly you are looking for.
