- @Cheese9Man 🤣 yeah that happens. I don't get the argument though. On one hand aa is op and makes anyone a god. On the other hand controller players are just bad in spite of having aa. And on another hand entirely it only makes top tier players op. So which is it? Top tier gonna be top tier regardless of input method, and bad gonna be bad regardless of it too. 🤷
And yes aa is needed in Apex as it is too fast paced to be played without it for most people, its a feature of the input method and that's all. No point in holding it against someone as mixed lobbies wasn't up to them. - @Sand_spitter The sad reality is people don't like to take responsibility for their actions. If you've worked long enough or managed staff you've seen grown adults finger point horribly to make themselves look better. It is the same in gaming.

@Cheese9Man wrote:REMOVE AIM ASSIST! Look at this clip of a controller player on how OP AA is with a wingman. It’s practically aimbot with no skill.
@Cheese9Man Welcome to my world...
- @hayhor It's absolutely the same. Gaming aside, the really sad part is a lot of those people tend to get away with it too. But don't even get me started on that, we'll be here all day.
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero (Retired)@Cheese9Man This could easily have been a clip of me. I'm decent at the game, but if AA were a friggin aimbot like people claim, I would be pred #1, along with every single other controller player!! Don't give me a Wingman, and expect me to hit shots. I pretty much always pass it up XD.
AA merely attempts to close the massive gap between mouse and controller, and it still doesn't get controller close to mouse. Mouse response is instant. If you're looking right, as soon as you begin to move your mouse to look left, it instantly begins to move your camera to the left. Controller toggle has to go back PAST the center point, before it even changes direction. AA simply tries to close this gap, but cant. I do not want to play against PC players, because I'm just at a huge disadvantage, from aiming, to movement in general, to looting death boxes. Controller simply does not compare. Doesn't matter though, because just like religion/politics, the debate will never stop, Lmao! I miss the good ol' days of playing Unreal Tournament on PC... aiming on a mouse is so easy! @dSKyNafinchin @RockDokRock @Sand_spitter you guys clearly did not watch the video thoroughly. The lifeline just had superior movement dodging all those bullets. /s 😂
- @Cheese9Man The lifeline was amazing tbf.
- @Cheese9Man Clearly! XD
- @hayhor LOL! Did not even crouch while strafing. First time I’ve watched it, I thought it was scripted/fake. 😅
- @dSKyNafinchin Unreal was amazing!
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero (Retired)@Cheese9Man Dang it, you're right!! I didn't realize they were up against Lifeline #1, Lmao!!
@Sand_spitter The '99 Unreal Tournament is and always will be one of my favorite games ever! - AcidicSoda440314 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cheese9Man yeah this. I can probably make dozens of videos like that.
Is it really a controller player or are key board and mouse on console. This is the bigger problem getting aim assist and getting control of a mouse. I got no scoped head shot twice the other day by an Octane flying through the air.
- e1b2b41da38ee6894 years agoSeasoned Ace@Lampwrecker2 well that's either luck or aimbot.
p.s. you know that if you slide jump into Octane's pad and then jump (fast speed low trajectory jump) you actually can hit bullets while being in the air like no problem = they don't go random ways like if you would be in the air in any other way. Another exception is Horizon's gravity lift ofc. - E9ine_AC4 years agoHero+
Ehh as some can tell you who do play with me wingman in my hands is bad time for enemy teams. I nearly only hit head shots with it no matter the distance. It is just a gun a lot have used from the start of it and just know where to aim and how to aim it at such long distances and I do not even use optics on it at all only stock red dot it offers. When in arenas lets be honest here predictive aiming will be a thing. It sure is for me. I instantly know where to aim because well the maps are so old you just know where and typically when someone will peak. Its repeat patterns and eventually you just catch on to that and know and predict where and when things will happen. I am on pc and do not use controller nor will I. So no matter what platform we go against everyone with a wingman should be feared in a way. Not at all saying there is no aimbot going on at times for you just when you see someone with a wingman just 100% expect that user to be cracked out their minds with it because loads of practice has been done with it. Below I will show you my wingman only game I had the other day on the Christmas event. Some people was just built for the wingman.
@Lampwrecker2This is actually a really good point that I didn't consider. Exact same thing happened to me with a Valk that slid past me. Insta death with double headshot. I know the limits of controller speed and those were 2 impossible shots to do while doing a slide at that angle. Or he just got really lucky which I doubt.
Well the game is rigged in many different ways, so you cant take it seriously. Crossplay makes it a ridiculous mess like a mix of tomato soup and fish soup. Noice.
