Re: Wtf is wrong with EA

@Extremejinks Batman is the most uninspired, irrelevant & unlogical ‘superhero’ ever created. I bet the creator was working hard on an actual superhero, got tired, did a 1 sec brainstorm and basically did what Frank Gehry did here at 00:25 for batman: https://youtu.be/S4S0Qk813fg.

He’s not a superhero! How can he fight normal bas guys and gets his bum kicked but when fighting superman, nothing! One punch of that actual superhero should’ve let batman joined his parents!

The only reason I liked batman in the 90’s was because he was a solo dude, speaks like a chain smoker who smoked for 30 years but still has a bass-y voice (granted, this is from shows) and because he likes bats.

Batman is ruining my chances of seeing the joker XD

  • @Koochi-Q So you base your idea of a super hero on "how badly they get their * kicked" instead of say, what they stand for, what they sacrifice for the greater good, what they do that no other person would do to keep those same people safe at night? (Also I haven't watch Batman v Superman and don't intend to, never been a fan of Superman.)

And if you believe Batman is "unimaginative", I'd like to hear which superheros you think ARE real strokes of imaginative genius.

@Extremejinks I don’t really base my idea of a superhero on anything but if I had to base it on something I’d base it on my idea that a superhero has superpowers... aka why they are called ‘superhero’ and not vigilante or ‘hero’. Batman belongs in the second category as he has no superpowers and he damn sure shouldn’t and couldn’t be holding his own against beings that have them.

The Hulk, Superman, Wolverine, any of the fantastic four, heck even Aquaman is more imaginative XD. I could continue but I’m not a comic book guy

  • @Koochi-Q "It's not who they are, but what they do the defines them." (Cheeky little Batman Begins quote for yah). Just because Batman, or any hero for that matter, isn't superhuman doesn't mean they can't be a super hero. Take Ironman for instance. In the exact same boat as Batman but you might consider him a super hero right?

I can agree with most of your examples, except Superman. He's just a "let's cram every superpower in this one man cause... we can?" What's the point? How could any villain have a sporting chance against him?

@Extremejinks and that sir, is why I never enjoyed watching any DC movies/shows.

I thought anime characters had bad plot armor, but DC just throws it all around for everyone like Oprah.

Like how does superman have all these forms? What logic is there for that, like how could a race with all that power be destroyed and gone.

And the flash, like I swear they make up stuff as they go so that man doesn't die. Can't he technically defeat anyone and everyone if he IS the fastest person in the universe (I assume)

Also batman and Iron man can both get rocked if the people they fought did not care about anything and just went for the kill.

Ex: Buu from DBZ when he goes and murders everyone but when he slows down to give a fair fight, he dies. terrible.

@Extremejinks I think that phrase was stolen from a spiritual person. No way Batman thought of that! XD

Nope, I don’t consider Ironman a superhero. He’s just a hero. It IS the superpowers that make the being a superhero (personal opinion) and let me state why. A hero is ‘a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities‘ by the oxford dictionary. A superhero is ‘a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers, such as Superman’. I could leave it as that but since I already stated this without quoting or looking at a dictionary but you still wanted to contest it a little, I’ll provide another means to see if I can change your mind.

Batman can’t be a superhero anymore than that a fireman can be one even if he’s displayed numerous acts of courage or helped save more people than the quota (if there is such a thing) for being a normal hero.

The only ‘real’ other way for batman to be a superhero is if you take the word ‘super’ lightly, just like in superstar. A superstar is basically the same ‘star’ but his/her feats, but it’s mostly their accomplishments, are well recognized that go beyond the normal stardom. This is in line with that batman quote.

Superman is the definition of a superbeing, but I can agree with you that he’s OP. But so are some supervillains. Like I said, I dont watch or read comic (movies) but what I hear Thanos can do is mind boggling. I need some further details but that dude can snap his fingers and make a planet disappear? XD

@iBlockHead, doesn’t the flash go to 1 mach? If so superman is faster XD remember the time that superman had to fly around the world to either reverse or slow down the rotation of the earth :P

HEY! You leave anime out of this! It has done nothing wrong. There’s even this very specific anime pic which I can’t find for some reason with all high profile anime heroes with a text like ‘if these guys existed then’. It basically meant that the world and the whole universe would be screwed XD
  • @Koochi-Q Damnit, I was wondering if I could get away with it before you looked for the dictionary definition. My Kryptonite! You win this time sir, I absolutely agree with what you say about taking "super" lightly.
