Re: Yet another caustic nerf?!?!?

@BaldWraithSimp I don't think you understand why I'm talking about this. If a legend can simply heal up all the damage while inside the gas then what's stopping people from simply pushing a Caustic gas? The whole point of the gas is to deter people from simply pushing in or atleast be more strategic with it. For an area control legend he really sucks at doing his job. If they want to enforce the "ability shouldn't kill" rule then they should atleast add more utility to his kit and not just give him a damage nerf and call it a day.

@Daze623 If someone is healing, that someone can't shoot. Sounds like a sufficient advantage to me.

Don't look at the enemy healing in your gas, shoot him! Well, if an enemy team is pushing you through your gas they are still at a disadvantage. They are slowed, take 5 dmg/tick and that's enough to kill someone. It's a different story when you are alone vs a full squad, you can't expect not to die in situations like that.

Besides Respawn always goes for aggressive nerfs. It might be a while before they even think of any buffs.

yeah just let them heal in the gas and do nothing about it. the gas is totally pointless

@BaldWraithSimp That's the main problem I have is the aggressive nerfs and slowly buffing them. It's just plain old lazy balancing. Not to mention it didn't even address the issue people had with old Caustic which was damaging abilities. What's even more annoying is that their stats showed that Caustic needed buffs before the streamer/pro complains came in. I don't know if it stopped lifeline rez but it definitely should.

@Daze623 Shooting the drone cancels the rez, so logically Caustic gas should also cancel it. I will chalk it up to as a bug. That solves the problem of rezzing in the gas(if implemented), since everyone else has to do it manually and I don't think anyone is stupid enough to try it.

@BaldWraithSimp Knowing how fast and efficient they fix bugs in this game. I'd consider it part of the mechanics now. lol
