@LaughingSharko cosmetics falls under content. It’s a static element of the game.. and is actually purchased content - it’s a static element - the function of selling skins on games must be protected.. it’s something that companies need to stand behind. Otherwise what companies sell doesn’t have to be what they give people - and that’ll legally give them a way to just blindly rob people under false pretenses. This is the definition of theft.
@DFTS-ILLusionz LOLZ. Exaggerate much? It's not even remotely close to the definition of theft. You agreed to the terms of service when deciding to play the game, remember?
You can call it "content" if you want, but that doesn't change anything, because game companies can also do whatever they want with your content. They own it, understand? You never have ownership, ever.
That's why Destiny 2 can vault paid-for content, completely blocking people who purchased the expansions from accessing it.
It's why EA can ban you and block access to each and every piece of content you "purchased," for violating any of their guidelines.
Last but not least, is this really the hill you want to die on? Defending a P2W skin that was only changed in ways that balances gameplay makes all the people QQing look pretty sad.

The EULA you agree to when playing has a passage about them changing or modifying the game code as they see fit:
"From time to time, EA may update, change or modify an EA Service, Content or Entitlements, without notice to you. These updates and modifications may be required in order to continue to use EA Services.
"EA may need to update, or reset certain parameters to balance game play and usage of EA Services. These updates or "resets" may cause you setbacks within the relevant game world and may affect characters, games, groups or other Entitlements under your control."
The ability to scream at me in all caps does not change this language you agreed to.
