like I stated before and others have stated in other posts on this topic. The game design is geared around team play. So for all of the people that want to play solo go ahead and do that, there is a no fill option. If those players want to put themselves at a disadvantage by doing that then so be it. Otherwise I suggest that they find a team or find a game that is more suited to solo play.

Real teambased shooters like cs and valorant do give people the option to queue alone and its very unlikely that you run into a 5stack then...even games like lol/dota give a solo/duo queue to support people that dont wanna play in a full squad for what ever reason(you ofc wont run into a stack then)
Apex loses players because they cant just queue up solo without the feeling having "stacked" odds against them...they should split the queue, a solo/duo queue and a full premade queue like every god damn has nowadays lol...
And as you can see games that have much more focus on teamplay can even deliver that so why apex shouldnt be able to?
Some questions here.
1. Are you supporting the OP statement to have Premade teams removed from ranked play?
2. Or are you supporting a solo Q mode?
I like to play with friends and the game was developed around team based play and being able to play with friends. Are you suggesting that the Dev's remove one of the core game designs? If so I do not think that that will happen.
If you can find the "I" in "Team" please let me know.
I do understand what you are getting at because not everyone can has friends that play or even play at the same level as you and therefore can not team up with you. Finding other like minded and skilled players to play with out there is not easy, but can be done. I know there are a lot of times when I played with Randoms that I wish I should have solo-Q'ed. Keep up the good fight maybe some sort of support for solo Q'ers will happen in the future but removing the ability to play ranked games with friends is not going to be removed. EA will never do that as it would ruin competitive play at all levels.

I agree with you getting rid of playing with friends would be weird and bad.
Your idea about solo Q'ing for random teams vs only other random teams is a great suggestion. People that work with the Devs and have more info/skills and data on this should maybe take a look into this as a possible solution.

- @RevMainPls You are comparing games of 5v5 or 6v6 to a game that has 20 3 person squads in it just to get a game. That comparison isn't realistic.
Oh and I can tell you, the game does affect your MM if you premade. You see a lot higher caliber players with a premade than without. This is even a thing in ranked.
