I do have to say that @Cro_Pittt is correct especially when looking at higher tier lobbies. Diamond and above rank make up 2.5% or 5% (depends on whet data you look at) of the overall player base and MM q times can be longer. If this is further diluted by 2 different types of Q's it might not be viable. The Devs would have the data and would be able to decide if that is or is not a viable option and that might already be why this is not being done.
@Asmodeus566 Well ofc the queuetimes would go up but how much is something we simply cant know and would be an interesting test, higher end players tend to sit in queues for 10mins in most games and its usually not that bad.
