@JoemanjiThe changes to ranked have been based on complaints by all. Here are some examples-
Players: Playing as a solo stinks, no one plays as a team. People just run in and die. Response: Here is a system that rewards placement more that should encourage team play.
Players: Players are ruining games by ratting as placement is everything. Response: Kills now count a bit more and here are challenges that need to be done between levels to advance. Rats can't do the challenges as they involve kills.
Players: Smurfing is ruining ranked. Response: We changed MM so that it recognizes smurfs quickly and MM no longer uses current rank. It uses calculated ability.
All of the above have been complaints by everyday Players. Did the solutions work? No. Did they try? Yes. Will they keep trying? Yes but they can't constantly change things mid season.
@hayhor This is the law of unintended consequences. Respawn does not think things through and I doubt they actually play their own game.
what a crazy dead game speedrun by respawn , let's see if we can have less than 100k avg player by the end of the year
