Respawn, Olympus is [Admin - removed] unplayable

@hayhor I on pc have much better and smoother games on worlds edge. Olympis i dont know if its a gpu thing or what but it is far more unstable in areas for me then anything worlds edge has ever done to me. I made a post about this earlier in the season.

@E9ine_ACYeah but that isnt a net connection thing. That's something else. I mean on ps4 I see more frame drops on olympus too. It is huge and with all the open spaces you can see far. There is way more to render.

@hayhor This has nothing to do with frame rate, quality and clarity of graphics, or any other nonsense like that. I'm talking about the basic foundation cornerstone of GAMEPLAY.

Now on Olympus many times when I encounter an enemy squad, my ping and packet loss shoots up and enemies are lag teleporting all over the place. They can shoot me up all to high hell but I can't even get a bead on them.

This happens largely in Olympus. I normally blame the player, for the sake of argument, they may be in Cali but choose a far away server in NY or across seas with high ping so they can lag teleport on the enemies side of the connection for an advantage. But this is Olympus specific when I see my performance numbers in the upper right side of the screen increase in the wrong way anytime I get close to a battle.

    So according to @hayhor lag, high ping, rubber banding, snapping and shot no reg is something new for the forums. Priceless...
    
    I played for about an hour after the Winter event ended and things seemed to have settled down but it was only an hour. My ping didn't go over 75 on Olympus and anytime I got gakked it was because I was trying to win a fight against 2 purple armored enemies with havocs and spitfires when bringing vanilla armor and an eva 8. We will see how it goes for the rest of the week.
    
    I'm wondering if it has something to do with the event, not playing during the "struggle hours", or if someone from Respawn spilled some Mt Dew on a console and it fixed the issue.
    
    As I stated earlier I got a long laundry list of issues to eventually air out so thank you all for comments and hope the new year brings everyone what they need
