I guess that’s a W for the pc playerbase.
Has this anti-cheat made a scrap of difference to Fortnite since it was installed? for me & my nephews who play Fortnite emphatically say no it hasn't.And so it isn't going to make one jot of difference to Apex & why should it as long as the cheats are still buying skins they are still seen as paying customers in the eyes of EA/Respawn.And with an obsolete & useless reporting system (yeah blocking a cheater is really going to lead to them getting banned) any anti-cheat is like fitting a house with a burglar alarm after it has been robbed several times before whilst refusing to fix the broken door locks.
